Please be advised that in 2024 we will be taking our pre-treatment a step further. We want to support individuals as they wait for the program to start, therefore all individuals who will be accepted into our program will:
- benefit from circle of care sessions leading up to intake day. These circle of care sessions will be organized during the phone interview process and also will be stated on the acceptance letters that will be sent to referrals.
- Mawiomi has also partnered with the CHUM Addictions Medical team and every applicant will be reviewed for potential medical needs prior to entering the in-house program. This could mean that a referral(client) will have a medical assessment via zoom/phone.
- Require a printout of all medications from the pharmacy (best possible medication history).
- Medications to be in blister packs (dispill) as much as possible.
