Although our Residential Program is currently suspended due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our Staff is still hard at work and available to support you! Introduction

Mawiomi Treamtent Center Inc. is a seven (7) bed residential treatment center located in the First Nation community of Gesgapegiag, Gaspésie (Québec). Our center offers a seven (7) week structured treatment program for chemical dependencies and has incorporated the "Harm Reduction Model" of treatment with an emphasis on Mi'g Maq culture, values and traditions. In addition, we provide individual counselling, group circles, videos, discussions and teachings. We approach treatment in the same way as our ancestors in a holistic (emotional, spiritual, physical, mental) manner designed to address the individuals' needs.
